That was just one of the findings in a recent study on aging by the American Physical Therapy Association. The findings, listed in the infographic below, offer some insight into what many Americans are thinking and feeling about aging.

- A significant number of respondents under the age of 55 expected to experience signs of aging in their 40s or 50s
- 93% of respondents already practiced behavior to promote healthy aging
- A physical therapist can work with you to help prepare for aging, treat the effects of aging, and learn how to age well
